Dr. Robin Ross
Dr. Robin Ross attended Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri where she received her BA in English Literature. She completed her postgraduate studies at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine where she received her degree in 1990, with honors, to practice Podiatric medicine. In 1991, she completed a Podiatric Medicine residency which consisted of rotating through various NYC hospitals, and then completed a Podiatric Surgical residency in Norristown, PA. Dr. Ross began private practice in 1992 in Brooklyn, NY before moving to the East End of Long Island in 1995 where she now has her office on Shelter Island. She is on staff at Eastern Long Island Hospital. Dr. Ross is also Board Certified in Podiatric Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Ross served as the first woman President of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association. She also has lectured on Foot Health and written scientific papers on various aspects of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Ross has made numerous appearances on national television, including The View, Good Morning America, and Good Day New York. She has also been interviewed by major publications including W Magazine, Self, People, and Prevention.
Dr. Ross is an avid runner and has participated in triathlons. She also enjoys horseback riding, kayaking, snowshoeing, traveling, and gourmet and home-style cooking.
